"Tony's Best Way Team"

Dear prospective client,

My parents, Tony and Erica Toth, started Tony’s Best Way in 1971- eight years before I was born. My brothers James and Michael and I have grown up in it’s shadow our entire lives. James and Michael eventually grew up to play a large part in today’s field operations. As for me, I helped out more in the office. (I did try out the physical aspect of the business and, whew… they make you work, let me tell you!)

I can’t remember how old I was when I started occasionally fielding calls from prospective clients like you in the family office, but I do know it was quite some time ago and, as a newbie, I was nervous. One particular call I answered is still burned into my mind.

The caller listened to my greeting, stated his cleaning needs and, after I stumbled out a reply, asked knowingly, “Why should I choose your particular company?”

I could have stated solid, convincing reasons. We had them. But I was young and simply too unfamiliar with them. Consequently, I lost the job. However, I am still grateful for that experience and for that customer. He taught me the importance of knowing why a customer should pick us over our competition.

When customers are better informed about the cleaning results they can expect from one company and the results they can expect from a different company, they have the ability to better discern “who is in the business to get the job done, and who will just call the job they do ‘done‘”.
